It depends on the area, the size of the villa and the season. Our Bali villa price index (September 2026, 533 live villas) puts the typical night at about $606, with the middle half of villas between $370 and $1,169. Ubud is the value pick at about $427 a night, Canggu sits around $805 and Seminyak around $1,026, while Uluwatu has the widest spread, from compact villas to clifftop estates. From mid-June to mid-September and over Christmas and New Year, rates run about 30% higher.
It varies by villa, so check the villa's own page and the quote we send. Staffed villas typically come with daily housekeeping, Wi-Fi and a private pool. Breakfast and other meals depend on the villa: some include breakfast, others charge for every meal. A private chef, in-villa spa treatments, a yacht day or a helicopter flight can be arranged on request. Some villas quote taxes and service inside the rate and others add them, and a few ask for a refundable security deposit; the full breakdown is shown before you pay.

May to September is the dry season and usually brings the most settled weather. Demand and prices peak from mid-June to mid-September and over Christmas and New Year, when the best villas sell out months ahead. April, May, October and November are the value months: quieter, with lower rates and usually good weather. Galungan ceremony weeks, whose dates move each year, are a rich time to be on the island but worth planning ahead.

For ten guests or more, look at villas and estates from six bedrooms up, booked as a whole. Ocean Palm Estate in Pererenan has seven bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and terrace, and sleeps 14. La Boheme Mansion in Pererenan and Cala Saona in Canggu each sleep 16 across eight bedrooms, and Sohamsa Ocean Estate in Uluwatu sleeps 20 across ten. Our large-group villas collection has more. Beachfront villas, around Berawa, Echo Beach, Sanur and Jimbaran, put the sand at the end of the garden and suit families who want the beach first thing in the morning; beaches in Bali are public, so privacy depends on the plot. Cliffside villas on the Bukit peninsula, around Uluwatu, Ungasan and Bingin, look out over the Indian Ocean and are usually more private, though reaching the sand can mean steps or a short drive. Yes, though not every villa allows events, so we check with the owner first. Tell us the date and the number of guests and we will shortlist villas that accept a ceremony or celebration, and on what terms. For weddings, our sister brand Brides Venues specialises in wedding venues.

There is no booking fee on top of the villa's price; only card payments carry a processing fee.
