Nag Shampa Private Estate: A Sanctuary of Nature in Taro Village
Escape to the tranquil Taro village and discover Nag Shampa Private Estate, a haven seamlessly integrated with its natural surroundings. Meaning “incense of love” in Sanskrit, this estate, conceived by Sam and Isabella Branson, is designed as the ultimate retreat, blending modern design with traditional Javanese architectural elements to create an atmosphere of refined authenticity. This expansive Ubud estate can comfortably accommodate up to 16 guests across eight ensuite bedrooms, making it an ideal choice for large families or groups of friends traveling together.
Spanning over one hectare, Nag Shampa Private Estate offers a sensory experience with its lush environment and thoughtful amenities. Guests can take advantage of the dedicated yoga shala for exercise, meditation, or quiet contemplation. Three in-house cooks prepare wholesome, home-style meals daily, utilizing fresh, organic produce cultivated from the estate’s own orchards and vegetable gardens. The estate features five inviting swimming pools for relaxation and refreshment, as well as a massage studio and various serene relaxation areas scattered throughout the property.
Wander through the verdant landscape to discover three impressive Joglo-style buildings. The Istana Suite serves as the master bedroom, while a large dining pavilion and a spacious living area connect to the main pool and yoga shala. Adjacent to the shala, two symmetrical pairs of Joglo structures house four additional bedrooms. Further along, a series of three private Kubu pool villas each offers a balcony with a hammock for ultimate relaxation.
This stunning venue is also available for weddings and other special celebrations; please contact our team for further details.
