The Sayan House is a casual fine dining restaurant located in Sayan, overlooking the Ayung River, just outside the bustling Ubud centre. The restaurant serves Asian Contemporary cuisine by Chef Yuki Tagami, who uses his worldwide experience of tastes and cooking and unifies them in his dishes, giving traditional dishes a new look and flavour.

The Sayan House is much more than a restaurant. It is a Home and it was built with the sole purpose of welcoming travellers into a warm and comfortable home.

THE LUXURY BALI EXPERIENCE

The Luxury Bali was thrilled to be invited to this chic – yet homey – new restaurant in the line of Ubud. Sharing a breathtaking view of Ubud green hillside with Four Seasons, The Sayan House truly set their standard high. The Sayan House building and interior made an impression that they really takes time and energy to prepare a great impression to each and every guest. They are giving their best even to every tiny little detail.

Stepping in our first time to The Sayan House, we were welcomed by their friendly staff, ready to make our experience in The Sayan House an unforgettable one. Their service was truly a highlight, as their staff paid attention to everything we need – we don’t need to ask for a new spoon every time we changed course. We hope The Sayan House can keep this great thing up.

We were there for lunch and served with the amazing Lunch Specials: 3 courses of menu – appetizer, main course, dessert, coffee/tea. We had Sushi Babi Guling and Oriental Chicken Salad. Both of them were setting a new standard of what Asian Contemporary cuisine should be. Must try.

For Main Course, we had Jambalaya with Grilled Chicken and Vegetables and Balinese Style Peperoncino Spaghetti. These choices of Main Course were good.

Lastly, for dessert, we had our coffees accompanied by Oma’s Apple Pie and Home-Made Gelato with Cinnamon Sprinkles and Lemongrass Panna-Cotta. We are not a fan of apple pie, but we love Oma’s Apple Pie in The Sayan House so much.

Given an amusing first dining experience, we will definitely come back to The Sayan House for more. -gl
